Hello! My name is Dr. Rebecca Lee Perlow. To distinguish myself from my husband most patients call me Dr. Rebecca. This is pretty much my usual garb, exactly how you'll see me in the office. I was an RN( Registered Nurse) graduate of Los Angeles County/ University of Southern California Nursing school and started my first job as an RN at Tarzana hospital on January 16, 1982. I am proud to state I was a Labor & Delivery Nurse:) I worked nights and went to school by day to get my degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from California State University Northridge in 1987. I attended Western University Health Sciences in Pomona to achieve my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 1993. Yes, Osteopaths do surgery and write prescriptions. I attended Kaiser Permanente on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, California from 1993 to 1997. I am board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology from the American Congress of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. I remain a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics & Gynecology which is what the FACOG behind my name stands for. I meet all the annual requirements to maintain certification ( called MOC) by the ACOG .

I am former Vice-Chief of Obstetrics & Gynecology at what is now Providence Tarzana Medical Center. I returned to my hospital in 1997 to join my husband in our private practice. It is the only hospital I have privileges for other than out patient surgery centers.

I absolutely love my job, it was worth every second of advanced education to be able to care of you all!
